Dr. Roland Felix Moumie

Dr. Roland Felix Moumie, Cameroonian independence leader born in 1926 in Foumban was president of the Union of the Populations of Cameroon (UPC), a separatist party since September 1958.

         
In 1955, the U. P.C. was officially dissolved. Moumie and key leaders were hunted down by hired French.

         
October 16, 1960, he was poisoned with thallium, in the“Plat in a restaurant in Geneva by the journalist for the agency Acme (classic cover) Franco-Swiss, Louis William Bechtel, nicknamed \"Big-Bill\", a agent \"Red Hand\", a branch of the Documentation and against foreign-intelligence (SDCE).
         He died November 3, 1960 at the Cantonal Hospital of Geneva. His body was buried in Conakry on the orders of his friend, the president Ahmed Sekou-Toure.

         
In 1976, despite evidence to the Tribunal of Geneva, William Bechtel (82 years) is released against bail of 100,000 Swiss Francs.

         
In 1969, Marthe Moumie, the wife of the leader Cameroon Ekemeyong Avebe born September 4, 1931 at Eboma Essawo is itself a member of the UPC and leader of the Democratic Union of Cameroonian women (UDEFEC).

         
Refugee in Equatorial Guinea where she lives with the militant separatist Athanasio Ndong who is assassinated in 1969. She is tortured by the regime of dictator Macias Nguema, before being returned to Cameroon where she is imprisoned without trial for five years from May 1969 to July 14, 1974.

         
In 2006, she published her memoirs under the title:\\\\\\\"Victim of French colonialism. Moumie Félix,  My husband\\\\\\\"prefaced by the former President of Algeria, Ahmed Ben Bella and published by Editions Duboiris in Paris.

         
In 1980, Bechtel was finally acquitted by the court in Geneva for \"lack of evidence\". He died in peace in the early 1990s to the military hospital of Val de Grace in Paris.

         
On December 16, 1991, Dr. Felix Moumie is rehabilitated and recognized as \"national hero\" by the National Assembly of Cameroon.

         
In 2004, Marthe Ekemeyong Moumie went to the hospital in Geneva, the Court of Geneva refuses to see the back the file of her husband,.          The file is not found and the height, in the cemetery of Conakry, the body of her husband was removed from his tomb and probably burned!

         
On April 10, 2005, the documentary of Swiss journalist Frank Garbely: \"The assassination of Félix Moumie. Africa under control\" by Television Suisse Romande (TSR) give Martha Ekemeyong Moumie on the front of the stage.

         
In November 2007 the first Felix Moumie Foundation Award is given to fighter Mboua Massok in Geneva by the Cameroonian diaspora opposed to the regime of Paul Biya.

         
January 7, 2009, Martha Moumie is found raped and strangled at his home in Ebolowa by Cameroonian police.

         
According to the Cameroonian newspaper \"Mutations\", the murderer, Eboutou Minla\'a Franck was born April 7, 1990 in Yaounde.
